Viva Chicken Restaurant ReviewPeruvian Rotisserie | St. George | $
Viva Chicken is a fantastic place to eat in St. George right off the freeway. The Peruvian style rotisserie is truly unique. With over a dozen locations across the country, mostly on the east coast, this place is a popular pick for locals and tourists alike.
Obviously chicken features prominently on the menu. However, if you are a plant-based eater, you can get any of their dishes without the chicken. It is optional.
One thing you have to try is the house sauce. There are actually three house sauces- mild, medium and spicy. Each one is pretty great and a must try.
Another must have is the house made juice. They have a couple options that are made fresh daily and absolutely worth it.
The quinoa stuffed avocado is a personal favorite, as is the tacu bowl. You really can’t go wrong.
You will notice one thing very quickly at Viva Chicken…they are fast! We’ve been several times and no matter how busy it is, the food always comes out quickly.
Another thing you’ll notice is that it is very clean. They even won a Silver award for cleanliness!
Everything is very affordable. It is a quick service type of restaurant, so expect most everything to be under $10.
The one knock against Viva Chicken is that it can get a little bit loud. It’s an open concept floor plan, so if they are busy, which is most all of the time, you’ll notice that it can be somewhat noisy. It’s not a deal breaker, but something you’ll notice.
They do have overflow seating to the side that’s also a large party room you can reserve for whatever occasion which is pretty cool. The building is fairly new, so the design and decor is pretty modern, clean and nice.
Overall this is one of our favorite places to eat in St. George. And we’re not alone. We hear it time and again from so many people that they just love Viva Chicken. You will too!
